G7: Feudalism: Nobility

The title of a medieval baroness was reserved for female members of the nobility at a lower level.

Dishes of vegetables like peas, beans and onions would be served to accompany the food served when they were in season.

Women could be educated. Noblewomen and nuns, in particular, had access to books and were often literate.

Noble women had very little, if any, choice in who her husband might be. Marriages were frequently arranged so that both families involved would benefit.
